This programme is ideal for adults looking to start or transition into a cyber security career. Whether you’re unemployed, changing career, returning to work or already employed, this programme provides a clear entry route into the cyber sector.

To be eligible, you must:

  • Aged 19+ 
  • Live in the Northeast area of England.
  • Have access to a reliable internet connection with a PC/ Laptop. 
  • Be either; employed, self-employed, career changers, returners to work or unemployed within the last 12 months. 

Cyber security skills you’ll gain

Throughout the programme, you’ll develop practical, job‑ready skills including:
