Position Overview:
A Senior Account Manager in our Apprenticeships Team drives revenue through prospecting, closing and account development via apprenticeship starts. Our apprenticeship solutions can be used for hiring new talent and upskilling existing staff – this is a Business to Business (B2B) role targeting employers based in England.
Supported by our marketing, business development and apprenticeship resourcing functions, you will manage the start to end sales process, creating new business opportunities and managing existing client relationships.
Some of your tasks will include telephone prospecting, Microsoft Teams meetings and LinkedIn outreach. You will promote the Leep Talent proposition ensuring you find the right answers and creating sustainable business opportunities for our clients – not selling a solution that doesn’t fit.

Role Responsibilities
- To achieve set activity & billing targets while also delivering on agreed objectives
- To generate success from sales calls
- Managing client relationships to the highest standard
- To effectively cross-sell all aspects of the Leep Talent Apprenticeship Proposition
- To be a brand champion for Leep Talent
- To evaluate and manage performance levels in line with company expectations
- To ensure all processes and compliance procedures are followed
- New Business Tenders and Pitches
- Supporting Senior Management with agreed duties (SAM+)
- Maintaining all relevant management information on our CRM – quality data makes us successful
Principal Accountabilities
- Calling potential customers to persuade them to use Apprenticeship services
- Accurately recording customer details, meeting notes and prospecting activity
- Generating leads and converting them into customers
- Developing and sustaining solid relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and cross sell opportunities across the group
- Using sales enablement materials & interventions offered by the company to drive sales and respond to customer objections
- Developing in-depth knowledge of customer products and services to make suitable recommendations based on customers’ needs and preferences
- Continually meeting or exceeding daily and monthly targets with respect to call volume, prospecting activities and sales
- Identify new business opportunities and expand on existing partnerships to expand the group’s impact
- Win new business contracting with employers who are new to the client
Candidate Requirements:
Essential Skills / Experience
- Professional, well-presented and provides an excellent first impression
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite
- Great communicator, both verbal and written
- Good understanding of sales process and CRM
- A minimum of 2 year’s experience in a Quota-Bearing sales role
Desirable Skills / Experience
- A degree in a business or similar related subject

- Lifelong learner and passion for a career in sales

Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 p.a.
