About the role:

Our client is embarking on a significant period of technical transformation and needs a passionate and creative Full stack developer to join the team.

You will be responsible for developing the company’s digital platforms including:

  • Salesforce integration and maintenance (Celigo)
  • Public and internal API integration and maintenance
  • Internal platforms such as the record management system rebuild
  • Email templates for consumer and B2B audiences
  • Apps and other external digital assets including social media integrations with our sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Cloud & Serverless Solutions: Work with existing AWS Lambda and API Gateway infrastructure, contributing to enhancements and supporting the development of serverless solutions alongside the backend team.
  • API Development & Integration: Maintain frontend-facing APIs and backend services in C#, .Net and/or Node.js.
  • Database Optimization: Write and optimise SQL queries against MSSQL databases, with an understanding of data structures and flow sufficient to support feature development and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain and build the react app that runs the logged in experience of the company websites
  • Maintain and code Apex and work with Aura components within Salesforce
  • Create Celigo integrations between the company's platform
  • Front-end development of Guinness World Records websites, continually improving the user experience.
  • Implementation of designs from third party agencies and the internal design team, bringing them to life on the platforms.
  • Development of a range of HTML Email Templates for both B2C and B2B audiences
  • Working in an agile environment as part of the development team, including sitting in on all IT team sprint meetings, and working closely with the server-side developers on the implementation of their code.
  • Working on internal web-based applications’ user interfaces to improve the usability, accessibility, compliance and searchability.
  • Working with external API’s i.e., Twitter, Facebook etc. to integrate available functionality on all websites.
  • Leading the technical coding aspects of all SEO work
  • Working on other public facing platforms and apps, learning new skills to build and support new initiatives.

Requirements:

Experience -- At least 3 years’ experience in the following:

 

  • A fundamental knowledge of computer programming
  • Experience integrating with server-side code (MVC)
  • AWS Lambda + API Gateway
  • RESTful API Development
  • Experience with .Net/C#
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with OOP (object orientated programming)
  • SQL Server (T-SQL, stored procedures, views, etc)
  • Excellent knowledge of React
  • Excellent HTML5, LESS and SASS experience
  • Coding valid XHTML and CSS mark-up
  • Experience with jQuery and knowledge of working with other JavaScript frameworks
  • Knowledge of HTML Email best practice
  • Providing innovative new ideas on how to present and layout content.
