Position Overview:

The Curriculum Product Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the design, development, and implementation of curriculum across specified pathways of Leep Talent’s technical programmes. Due to growth across our training division, and a commitment to enhanced quality in our apprenticeships division, Leep Talent now requires a highly skilled and quality focused individual to help further build on our strong reputation to produce outstanding teaching and learning materials in this exciting market. We require that you:

  • Develop new curriculum in Bootcamps and Apprenticeships for existing and new forward opportunities (AI, Green, and other growth market opportunities).
  • Can develop bespoke/redevelop services specific to companies needs if commercially viable.
  • Can expand lifetime of learning with forward growth of Level 5, and new Bootcamp and commercial training opportunities.
  • Can support wider solutions for companies as part of wider perfect deals/RTD/Solutions builds, and Bids that are asking more than ever for adaptation.

Responsibilities 

In common with all staff:

  • To support the Leep Talent’s mission, vision, values, and strategic objectives

Curriculum:

  • Work with relevant stakeholders and independently to follow ADDIE methodology in curriculum building
  • Analyse curriculum needs
  • Design curriculum across specified Leep Talent digital subject pathways
    • Plan and scope programmes
    • Map outcomes and/or specified programme criteria to courses and assessment activities
    • Storyboard courses
    • Manage Curriculum Development; create relevant plans relating to development projects
  • Develop Curriculum across specified Leep Talent digital subject pathways
    • Course slides
    • Course labs and/or practical exercises
    • Workbooks
    • Lesson Plans
    • Schemes of Work
    • Workplace assessment materials
    • Supplementary assessment materials e.g. matrices
  • Maintain Curriculum; work with relevant stakeholders and independently to amend and maintain curriculum materials
  • Design, develop and maintain all materials in line with Leep Talent’s systems and methods of delivery
  • Be an expert in Leep Talent’s systems and process for curriculum development and delivery

    • Any other software Leep Talent introduces into the business relevant to curriculum development or delivery
  • Cultivate strong and efficient working relationships with key stakeholders:
    • Service Delivery Director
    • Service Delivery Manager
    • Technical Trainers
    • IQA
    • Coaches
    • Sales Staff
    • Marketing Staff
  • Support sales in employer engagement to provide the vision and benefits of the curricula offered
  • Implement a designed and developed curriculum across specified Lepp Talent digital subject pathways through:
    • Education and training of sales staff
    • Education and training of technical trainers
    • Education and training of coaches
  • Evaluate curriculum following internal and external delivery
  • Quality check of developed materials
    • Perform quality checks on newly developed curriculum and feedback to developer where necessary, as well as regular quality checks of existing material:
      • Spelling, Punctuation & Grammar
      • Imagery
      • Suitability for audience
      • Labs work as per instructions
      • Lab instructions are clear and correct

Personal Development:

  • To update professional knowledge and skills through a commitment to own learning and development
  • Keep abreast with changes to the FE landscape and Ofsted requirements
  • Actively involved with online communities/seminars in regard to curriculum development to ensure JIT Group are at the forefront of developments in the education sector

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in creating curriculum and managing the curriculum development process
  • Experience of continuous professional development
  • Experience of involvement with a providers Ofsted inspection
  • Possession of a degree or appropriate professional qualification or working towards - desirable
  • Possession of a teaching qualification – essential
  • Holds GCSE English and maths or equivalent
  • Well-developed communication and presentation skills
  • An ability to develop positive working relationships with individuals at all levels
  • The ability to work flexibly and effectively through teams
  • The ability to motivate, encourage and manage the performance of others
  • The ability to analyse and solve problems
  • The ability to deal with difficult issues in a sensitive and confident way
  • The ability to organise workload in a methodical way
  • The ability to respond creatively to the specific needs of a diverse community
  • An understanding of and commitment to Equality and Diversity and Safeguarding and practical ideas for their implementation in this post
