Yes, the Bootcamp is fully funded for eligible learners through the Government’s Skills Bootcamps initiative. 

On completing the programme, you will receive a certificate of participation and the opportunity to gain Cisco badges in Cisco Networking Essentials and Cisco Cybersecurity Essentials. 

CISCO Networking Academy: Networking Essentials

Build a strong foundation in how networks operate.

You’ll learn how devices connect and communicate, understand key concepts like IP addressing and network security, and develop the practical skills needed to set up and troubleshoot basic networks, giving you the confidence to navigate today’s connected digital world.

CISCO Networking Academy Cybersecurity Essentials

Discover how to protect systems, networks, and data from cyber threats.

You’ll explore common attack methods, learn how to identify vulnerabilities, and understand the core principles of cybersecurity. By the end, you’ll have the knowledge to think like a security professional and help defend against real-world cyber risks.

To enrol, you need to be: 

• Aged 19+ 
• Live in Bedfordshire / Central Bedfordshire or the West Midlands (Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull or Walsall)
• Have access to a reliable internet connection with a PC/ Laptop. 
• Be either; employed, self-employed, career changers, returners to work or unemployed within the last 12 months. 

No previous cyber experience is required. The course is designed for beginners and introduces core concepts step-by-step. 

You will need access to a laptop or PC and a stable internet connection to participate in the virtual classroom sessions. 

After completing the programme, you’ll be supported into roles and pathways such as: 

• Cyber Security Technician
• SOC Analyst
• IT Security Support
• Entry‑level IT or Network Support roles
