This fully funded Skills Bootcamp is delivered by Intuitus on behalf of Back to Work, with guaranteed interviews with Stadium on completion for a role as a Temporary Traffic Management Operative.

It’s designed to provide local residents across Leicestershire with the skills needed to undertake work at major sporting and community events, ensuring spectator safety and effective separation between traffic and people.

This bootcamp is ideal if you meet the below eligibility criteria:

  • Aged 19+ 
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Unemployed
  • Must be a local resident in Leicestershire

Course content

The three-week Traffic Management Skills Bootcamp is fully funded for unemployed local residents in Leicestershire.

The course runs for 15 days full-time (Monday – Friday) and will be delivered at a training facility in Leicester.

The bootcamp covers the following:

  • Quality Assurance & NHSS 12

  • Terminology

  • Health, Safety and Environmental Awareness

  • Equipment and Vehicles

  • Safety Zones

  • Basic principles of Temporary Traffic Management, Traffic control and site practices

  • Maintenance

  • 2D Sector Scheme Definitions

  • 12D Qualifications and Training Routes

  • Reference Documentation

  • Risk Assessments and Method Statements

  • Mobile works and short duration works

  • Signage, Lamps, Tampers and Cone spacings

  • Site definitions, safety zones and basic layouts

  • Pedestrian safety and footway works

  • Conducting work site surveys

  • Road Closure and traffic diversions

  • Works at roundabouts

  • IfATE Level 3 Team Leading and management CPD sessions

  • Level 2 Spectator Safety

  • Practical day to put skills into practice
