This 18th Edition Wiring Regulations course is for experienced electricians who require a working knowledge of the British Standard BS7671:2018. You should take this course if you want to be competent in electrical installations and up to date with the latest legislation. 

What are the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations? 

The 18th Edition of BS 7671:2018 defines how electrical installations in the UK must be designed, installed, and tested. It’s the industry standard that keeps both electricians and end-users safe. 

The regulations came into effect on 1 January 2019, replacing the 17th Edition. Since then, the Amendment 2 (BS 7671:2018+A2:2022) update (released in 2022) has refined and expanded these requirements even further.

18th Edition course content 

The 18th Edition course and training includes: 

  • LCL Level 3 Requirements of Electrical Installations 
  • Comprehensive coverage of the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations 
  • Practical assessments and online examination
