AI Leadership Apprenticeship Units

Each AI Leadership Apprenticeship Unit has been designed based on your current experience with adopting and governing AI systems in your business.

Each AI Leadership Apprenticeship Unit takes 4 days to complete. The programme is also delivered over consecutive days, fully online, by our expert Tutors.

Each learner must be:

• Aged 16+
• Living in England
• Right to work in England
• A current employee

All apprenticeship Units are funded via the Growth and Skills Levy.

• Large employers (pay bill over £3m) contribute 0.5% of payroll into the levy
• This money is held in a Digital Apprenticeship Service account (DAS)
• From April 2026, these funds can be used for both:
  • Apprenticeships
  • Apprenticeship Units (short courses)

If your employer already uses the apprenticeship levy, they can use the same pot of money for Apprenticeship Units.
