Previous experience with AI or automation is not essential. You will achieve the Level 4 Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Automation Practitioner Apprenticeship, a nationally recognised qualification aligned to employer demand and Skills England standards.

The programme equips apprentices with practical skills to identify automation opportunities, design and deploy AI-enabled solutions, and ensure they are implemented ethically, compliantly and with due consideration for workforce impact. It helps employers build future-ready internal capability to improve productivity while managing risk, governance and change effectively.

Levy-paying employers can use their Apprenticeship Levy at no additional cost.
Non-levy employers pay only 5% of the total programme cost, with the government funding the other 95%.

The apprenticeship lasts approximately 15 months with flexible, remote delivery that allows apprentices to apply skills directly to workplace IT and AI support.
